Moose Mattson is proud to announce his foray with Mazz (the artist former Lee Warmer-ed as) into the world of radio broadcasting with his new show, Tues & Sat 4-6 & 8-10 PM on 107.9 WMCB LP Greenfield; in addition to playing the sounds that help Moose while he's workin' on the beaver; we all explore various other pop culture corners and even do some beaver promotion. The Pump Don't Work 'Cause the Vandals Took the Handle

Seems our resident groundhog Crooksie did in fact see his shadow and thus had to spend more time than usual huddled in a ball in the corner of his work station, jittering in beaver withdrawal behind the warmth of his Mac. Needles touche the beaver has enjoyed some new exposure thanks to our friends (hi Erik) at the ComiCONN (which was recently sold to that dastardly devilish Gareb Shamus (aka the Wicked Young Man); we were tardy in expressing our glands in interest towards attending but were able to stuff the goodie bags with our promo postcards...boo yeah! We warned you the ride would be bumpy; within the next twenty days you'll see the third, color double DECKER strip and Crooks will show all how to git er done, Didney style. Just a quickie to thank one & all for their interest, patience and (hopefully) support in sharing our beaver with your friends, 'member the old Aztec saying, me casa beava, sue casa beava. Hold on tight to your chimichangas!

HAPPY ST. PLATYPUS DAY

It has been many moons and a thousands more sandwhichs since we've emerged from the brush of the Woodlands; things have been, well, hairy to say the best!
Moose & Crooks have been trying to break down the barrier(s) between promoters and no-persons such as ourselves to little luck, with Anime Boston, the ComicConn & Chiller Theatre all saying, "No!" to beaver; who'd a thunk it? Well, we continue to pound it, in an effort to Grass Roots our collaborative, or "Midnight Confess" it "Sooner or Later!" We send our hearts and beaver whiskers out to those who faithfully read, or half read, or have interest in our "world," 'cause you are what we strive to make chuckle, tickle and give a tree bark hug forth to! So, in a manahmana of speaking, "Go Pus!"
The artist simply known as CRooks has pledged a new creedo to be more dilligent, more swift with thy ink brush and make sure all his clocks (the outies and the innies) are n'sync; cause time is precious and so are stuffed mushrooms, so we feel your panes, curtains & all. Thanks for all the support, even though we are NOT jocks in any sense of the word, though CRooks does have a strange manly musk about him, right under his earlobes near the nape of his neck, don't ask how I know that!? Keep reading, spread the beaver, please; tell your friends, 'cause this world is destined to rock yours. To indigestion and beyond!

THE DAY WAS NOT A TOTAL LOSS AS CROOKS GOT TO PLANT HIM BUM-BUM IN THE HALLOWED, HOLLOWED SEAT THAT ADAM WEST'S RUMP FIT SO COMFORTABLY INTO: THE CLASSIC BATMOBILE FROM THE BATMAN TV SERIES. Well, there's been some "raod work" on Beaver path as of late, er...well, actually that's a wee lil' white one. Crooks & I were busy tring to con our way into the Comic Strip Star contest on Amazon.com a few weeks back. Seems they accepted aroud 2000 applicants, and every two weeks widdled the numbers down. Yours (us) truly made the first cut, to the 250 mark, alas we lost out on the next round when the cut narrowed the combatants down to 50. Howlever, I think they got on to our "fudge" despite my best attempts to mask our bumbling website, and we were outed! See, submissions had to be "unpublished" AND the strips had to be done by a sole creator; and, as once can plainly see, this we aint'! So even though I asked the Super Powers that be to "block the site" I think it was all in main vein and our emerald curtain was pulled back revealing the proof in the puddin'. So you can expect to see the Beaver and Moe back in about ten days; JR, our webguru is vacationing down under with Mrs. Webguru and we must twiddle our thumbs until he gets his dingo-butt back in the Woodlands. We got some very nice photos on a mysterious disc care of the PH.B.I. today and we pelasantly plopped to find the enclosed "top secret" images!To my immediate write, is Moose Mattson, head writer and chief adviser on Beaver (sorry guys!); Moose was busy signing a disgusting amount of his post-it note autobiography he managed to write while Crooks was busy playing Annie Lebovitz, yes, he has better hair, DUH! So, see what you missed?The second "beaver shot" is Moose holding the much sausaged after Beaver in the Man Hat Wizard World Exclusive ash-can, ONLY given away at Wizard Worlds across the country this year, which constitutes two! Well, tardiness aside, the Beaver in the Man Hat muscles onward; do remember faceless readers that we try and stick to our "every ten days" upload policy bringing you further adventures of our whacky Woodland critters, but sometimes those darn stars don't always align, sooooo....when we do hit these snags (or blind pimples as we call them!) we've devised a, well some woul say Easter egg, but I'm calling it a "Cool Whip moment" where our strip will be "interrupted" by WTV9 News, which willbring you monumental and, more times than naught, mundane stuff! Anchored by senior reporter Moose Mattson (no relation folks!). So keep your eyes peeled, your ears open and your knuckles cracked for this exciting new(s) feature!
Speaking of exciting news over the next few weeks you'll see some new additions to the website, "Beaver TV," (not what you think guys, & some gals!), Beaver TV will bring you live action adventures & promo pieces relating to the Beaver In The Man Hat, creators, Dr. Pus and so dang much more!
